The Goodness of Bicycles Do you remember that feeling when you were given your first bicycle? BFGS coordinates efforts with local sponsors, media, and bike shops to give that feeling to underprivileged children in your community. If you have a bike shop in your community, then you can easily help give such children in your town that special gift of goodness called a bike.

Independance Day 2009 A Bike for a Soldier's Child
Sprocket is giving away Bike Shop Quality bikes to children in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Temple area. He wants to honor the sacrifice of these children in support of their parents. These bicycles are a small token of freedom that these parents are fighting for. Funding for these bicycles graciously comes from The Dallas Foundation and generous cyclists like you. Please donate and help Sprocket share the goodness of bikes! Here are the participating Bike Shops. Please visit them and thank them for their commitment and generocity.

Supporting KidSave  Sprocket is teaching Orphans to Ride a Bike! Meet us at Brushy Creek Lake Park on Sunday July 5th at 2:00 pm (map). Sprocket needs you help to teach 7 Orphaned Children from Columbia how to rdie a bike. Sprocket says "GIVE AND LET RIDE!".
After everyone is going on two wheels, Sprocket will lead the group on a short trail ride and get some refreshements. Come meet a child and show they you care. KidSave is sponsoring older orphans in Austin, Texas from Colombia. They have little or no chance of finding adoptive parents in their own country. While they are in Austin KidSave volunteers will be working to firnd permanent homes for these children. Please spread the work and visit KidSave.org for more information.
